Mt Martha – May 2011

53 studentshad a fantastic time participating in a variety of activities during their camp experience including Sandcastle Sculptures, Leap of Faith, Flying Fox, Canoeing, Archery, Hut Building and Bush Cooking.  Many of these required students to challenge themselves, work in cooperative teams and be supportive of each other. To support our Environmental learning focus they went on a Night-walk with the National Parks Ranger, tried their hand at dip netting, seeking bird hides and learnt about the Wetlands.

Students stayed in cabins for 2 nights at Briars Park and were encouraged to be responsible for their own belongings and have a caring attitude towards each other. Volunteer parents & staff accompanied students on the camp.
